Pastor David B. Williams succeeded his father, the late Bishop D. Lawrence Williams, as pastor of Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ in 1971. For over 30 years, Pastor Williams has maintained the foundation of prayer that began this Church over 96 years ago. He has tapped into God's treasure through prayer and without question, takes the action God directs in prayer. He has discovered the power of prayer that defeats the enemy, edifies the believer and overcomes the impossible. Through his prayer and daily communion with God, he has received God's revealed answers. God has imparted to him wisdom to face and champion any obstacle and challenge. He lives by the theme "Faith that can conquer anything".

Pastor Williams', educational background includes a B.A. Degree from Nyack Missionary College, New York. Further Study includes, Urban Studies, Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA; Pastoral Counseling, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA and Master of Divinity, Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA.

Pastor Williams is a proven Administrator, Educator and Builder. These abilities and talents are combined to bring to our church and community

D. Lawrence Williams Community Christian Education Center

Construction Plans are underway for the New D. Lawrence Williams Community Christian Education Center. This modern two-story complex will house a Day Care Center, Christian Elementary School (Classes first through sixth grades), Multipurpose Room, Computer Training Center, Modern Full-Size Kitchen, Prayer Room and Administrative Offices and Conference Rooms and Fellowship Hall.

Williams Village Apartments

A housing project initiated by the Late Bishop D. Lawrence Williams and named in his honor and was built by his son, Elder David B. Williams.  Williams Village Apartments provides shelter for low and moderate income people.  This 90-unit complex of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses and garden apartments is managed by the Board of Directors of Mason Memorial Church and is located at 512 Featherston Court in the city of Virginia Beach, Virginia.  For more information e-Mail: wmsvillage@aol.com

COGIC Highrise Homes for the Elderly

COGIC Highrise is located at 2412 Virginia Beach Blvd. in the city of Norfolk, Virginia and was also initiated by the Late Bishop D. Lawrence Williams and built by his son, Elder David B.
